Goal

I aim to help others in improving their homes like many blogs have done for me. With my Latter Day Parables, I aspire to give other families with similar dynamics as mine ways to teach their children about the gospel in a way that can be understood.

About Me

I was raised in Wyoming and am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Though I am from Wyoming, I love traveling! And hey, it’s fun to tell people while I’m in a far away place that I’m from Wyoming- to most people, meeting someone from Wyoming is like seeing Santa Claus on Easter. I love playing volleyball, playing games with family and friends, eating Twix candy bars and Blue Raspberry Air Heads, acting in comedies, and singing! I also love creating things. Now, I know I’m not the most skilled artist you’ve ever met, but I am a visual learner, through and through. So because I learn best with pictures, I draw pictures to teach my children! That said, I finally decided to share my drawings and stories on my blog because it would be just plain rude of me to keep these stories all to myself, if someone else out there can benefit from them! 

My Values

As I have stated before, I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I choose to follow the prophet and his revelations. Being from Wyoming, I never had instant gratification. I had to learn how to wait. Wait until we went to the nearest Wal-Mart and hour and a half away to get my make-up. Wait two months after a movie premiered for it to come to our town. Wait for a popular song to finally become popular in my school months after the rest of the world had heard it a billion times. Patience is good!
I have always loved the feeling of a “community,” coming from a small town of sweet people or in ward with loving members. I want to be just as warm and welcoming here on my blog to others who come to visit. I would love to share my ideas and I hope to inspire others.
