Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon. Week 23: Alma 8 – 12

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read Alma 8-12. In the Latter Day Parables, Auggie talks to April about her missionary experiences. She is so excited to share the gospel with her friend and invites Auggie to share the gospel with his friends too. We can all be missionaries!

Before reading the story, read Alma 8-12 and gain an understanding of it for yourself. After his conversion, Alma wanted to share the gospel to any who would hear. He and Amulek were missionaries. Explain to your children that missionaries share the gospel. Read “I Can Be a Missionary” provided in the Quick Clicks below. Use the cut-outs as you tell the story. How can we be missionaries?

Along with this lesson is a free Young Missionary Badge that you can print out for your children to wear! Explain to them that we want our friends to know the truth, so it’s important to share the gospel when we feel prompted to!
