Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon. Week 29: Alma 36 – 38

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon manual asks us to read Alma 36-38. In the Latter Day Parables, Auggie asks April why she is always going out of her way to be kind to everyone. April explains that the scriptures say “by small and simple things, great things shall come to pass.” A simple act of kindness can go a long way.

Before reading the story, read Alma 36-38 and gain an understanding of it for yourself. This lesson is connected to the scriptures Alma 37:6-7. As you tell the Latter Day Parable, use the visuals provided in the Quick Clicks below. Ask your children what small and simple things they can do. How can those small things turn into something great?
