Feburary 4-10. Matthew 4; Luke 4-5

For the week of February 4 -10 in the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual, we read Matthew 4 and Luke 4-5. Auggie learns about fasting and Mom teaches him how! Teach your children the importance of fasting, and if they’re old enough, show by example how to start a fast.

What You Need:

  1. Cut-outs of Auggie, Mom, June, No Food, Smart Phone, and Matthew 6:16 Scripture Screen. Print (cardstock is preferable), color, cut, and laminate (for durability) the cut-outs to give the story a visual. Provided below is a PDF copy of the No-Food and Matthew 6:16 Scripture Screen cut-outs. The No-Food cut-out happens to be in color- one less step for you! Haha! If you haven’t yet, you can get the Original Latter Day Parables Family cut-outs and the Smart Phone cut-out here. Velcro or tape the Scripture Screen to the Phone. Store your cut-outs in a Come, Follow Me 2019 Binder for future use.
  2. “Auggie Learns About Fasting” story. You can print out either the Word or PDF documents below to tell the story and save the copy in your Come, Follow Me 2019 Binder.

  1. You are amazing! And I really appreciate that these don’t cost. There are so many visuals I want to use and end up disappointed because they must be purchased. It’s so nice to have quality visuals that don’t drain my wallet especially because we are a Coast Gurad family impacted by the government shutdown. ❤️

    1. It’s true, there are great resources available out there, but a good amount of them cost money! Thank you for your kind words! I’m so glad you were able to find this website to help teach the principles from Come, Follow Me!
