Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon. Week 20: Mosiah 25 – 28

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon manual asks us to read Mosiah 25-28. In the Latter Day Parables, Auggie continues to tell May he is sorry he accidentally ruined her picture. May has a hard time forgiving her brother. Mom explains to May that Jesus forgives us when we make mistakes, but He won’t if we don’t forgive others. Knowing that she makes mistakes as well, May forgives Auggie.

Before reading the story, read Mosiah 25-28 and gain an understanding of it for yourself. Read Mosiah 26:30-31. What does that scripture mean to you?As you tell the Latter Day Parable, use the visuals provided in the Quick Clicks below. Ask your children if there has been a time they have made a mistake. How does it feel to be forgiven? How does it feel when we are not forgiven? When we forgive, both people feel happy and Heavenly Father is happy too.
