The Lesson:
This week, the Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon manual asks us to read Mosiah 4-6. In the Latter Day Parables, Auggie tells Mom he cheated on a test. Grateful for his honesty, Mom explains the process of repentance to Auggie. Though it was good he confessed his sin, he still needs to make his mistake right again by going to his teacher.
Before reading the story, read Mosiah 4: 1-3, 10. What did King Benjamin’s people do when they realized they had sinned? As you read the story to your children, use the visuals provided in the Quick Clicks below. Explain to them that we all make bad choices. But because of our Savior, Jesus Christ, we can return to the Kingdom of God with repentance.
