The Lesson:
This week, the Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon manual asks us to read 2 Nephi 11 – 25. In the Latter Day Parables, April explains to Auggie and June that the Millennium will be a time of peace. There will be no wars or bad guys and all the animals will be friends!
Before reading the story, read 2 Nephi 21. Find toys or pictures of animals are enemies for visuals for your children like a lion and a lamb. As you read the story, use the puppets provided. Explain that your lion and lamb (or whatever animals you chose) will be friends in the Millennium. In the Millennium, no one will be mean. Everyone will be good and nice! Isn’t that great?
