Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon. Week 28: Alma 32 – 35

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon manual asks us to read Alma 32-35. In the Latter Day Parables, May doesn’t understand why she needs to continue to read her scriptures. Mom explains that a testimony is like a little seed. We need to continue to do things like praying, reading our scriptures, and going to church to grow our testimonies.

Before reading the story, read Alma 32-35 and gain an understanding of it for yourself. This lesson is connected to the scriptures Alma 32:28-43. As you tell the Latter Day Parable, use the visuals provided in the Quick Clicks below. Ask your children how they can grow their own testimonies. They can use answers used from the story or answers of their own.

As an activity, use the Grow Your Testimony Cut-Outs in the Quick Clicks below. Ask your children to help grow the Testimony Flower. They can use Prayer Water, Scripture Sunshine, and Church Soil. Doing all those things can help make a testimony grow!
