A Dwelling of Love From a Welling Who’s Loved

Come, Follow Me: Book of Mormon. Week 42: Mormon 1-6

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read Mormon 1-6. In the Latter Day Parables, Mom tells Auggie that Mormon was young like Auggie when he was approached by Ammaron about the plates. She explains that age doesn’t matter when it comes to righteousness. Just like Mormon was, children can be righteous too!

Before reading the story, read Mormon 1-6 and gain an understanding of it for yourself. Specifically read Mormon 1:1-3. Why did Ammaron choose to tell Mormon about the plates? As you tell the Latter Day Parable, use the visuals provided in the Quick Clicks below. Explain to your children that no matter how young you are, you can always make good choices and choose to be righteous!
