A Dwelling of Love From a Welling Who’s Loved

Week 27: July 8 – 14. Acts 6 – 9

Week 27: July 8 – 14. Acts 6 – 9

The Lesson

This week, the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read Acts 6 – 9. In the Latter Day Parables, April rides the bus and is prompted to talk to a rider who is reading The Book of Mormon. The rider tells April that she is not a member of the church and had a few questions. April discusses and shares insights with her on the bus ride. When April tells Mom and Dad about her bus ride, Mom recalls her experience to be just like Philip who felt prompted to ride in an Ethiopian man’s chariot and discuss the gospel.

Read the story as a family together. Explain that the Holy Ghost can prompt us to help others when they need it. We can be prompted to share our testimony with others too! Encourage your children to listen to the still small voice and to seek opportunities to share their testimony with others.
