Week 24: June 17-23. Matthew 27; Mark 15; Luke 23; John 19

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read Matthew 27, Mark 15, Luke 23, and John 19. In the Latter Day Parables, Auggie is very sad about the death of his grandmother. Dad joins him in mourning but also reminds him that because of Jesus’s sacrifice for them, they’ll see her again.

Read the story and use the cut-outs as puppets as you tell the story. After reading, talk about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and that we will be resurrected one day too. If you have had a loved one pass away recently, share a picture of him/her and explain that you will be reunited one day!
