Week 25: June 24 – 30. Matthew 28; Mark 16; Luke 24; John 20-21.

Week 25: June 24 – 30. Matthew 28; Mark 16; Luke 24; John 20-21.

The Lesson:

This week the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read Matthew 28; Mark 16; Luke 24; and John 20-21. In the Latter Day Parables, a classmate tells May that Jesus isn’t real. She turns to Mom for answers. Mom tells May about Thomas, an apostle of Jesus, who chose to not believe that Jesus had risen. He would only believe if he saw Jesus himself. When Jesus appears, he says, “Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believe.” Faith is believing in things that can’t be seen. Mom convinces May that we must have faith in Jesus.

As you read the story, use the cut-outs of Mom and May. Provide a picture of Jesus Christ and discuss how you and your children can improve faith in Him.
