A Dwelling of Love From a Welling Who’s Loved

May 6 – 12. Luke 12 – 17; John 11

The Lesson

For this week the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read Luke 12-17 and John 11. In the Latter Day Parables, May struggles to understand why there was so much searching and rejoicing over one sheep when there were plenty of other sheep in Jesus’ parable. Mom reminds May of Aunt Jen, who lost her way. The family prayed for her and invited her to church. Finally, after many years, Aunt Jen found her way back to the church again and the family was so happy.

After reading this story, show your child the picture of Jesus holding a sheep. He cares about each of us individually and wants us to return to live with Heavenly Father again.
