A Dwelling of Love From a Welling Who’s Loved

Week 44: November 11 – 17. Hebrews 7 – 13

Week 44: November 11 – 17. Hebrews 7 – 13

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read Hebrews 7-13. In the Latter Day Parables, Auggie tells Dad that a classmate asked Auggie for proof that Jesus Christ lived. Auggie didn’t know how to answer and wondered if Dad could help him. Dad asks him to name evidences that prove Jesus lives. After discussing evidences, Dad tells Auggie that regardless of if his classmate believes these evidences to be true, it’s important that Auggie remains faithful.

As you teach this lesson, provide a picture of Jesus Christ. Talk to your children about the many things that prove Jesus lives. Review Hebrews 11 and share the stories of the prophets who held on to their faith. We must always hang on to our faith, regardless of what people try to tell us. With faith, we can do great things.
