Week 36: September 9 – 15. 2 Corinthians 1 – 7

Week 36: September 9 – 15. 2 Corinthians 1 – 7

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read 2 Corinthians 1-7. In the Latter Day Parables, May gets upset about Auggie ruining her drawing. Auggie feels really bad, because he accidentally spilled his cup. He didn’t mean to ruin it. Mom talks to May about the importance of forgiving and comforting so Auggie won’t be left in sorrow.

As you read the story, use the visuals provided. You can find them in the Quick Clicks below. Talk to your children about a time they did something on accident. How did they feel? When bad things happen to us, we need to remember how we felt when we felt sorrow so we can forgive and comfort too.
