A Dwelling of Love From a Welling Who’s Loved

Week 38: September 23 – 29. Galatians

Week 38: September 23 – 29. Galatians

The Lesson:

This week, the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read Galatians. In the Latter Day Parables, May wants to play with Mom, but Mom has a lot to do. May thinks it would be nice to surprise Mom, so she quickly and secretly cleans up the house. When Mom sees what May has done, she is so happy! She explains to May that there a sad consequences when we make bad choices, but there are happy consequences when we make good choices! Because May made a good choice and helped Mom clean, Mom can play with May!

As you read the story, use the visuals provided below as puppets. Talk to your children about good and bad choices. Explain to them that there is always a consequence for the choices we make. When we draw on the wall, that is a bad choice and the consequence is having to sit in time out. When we eat all our dinner, that’s a good choice and the consequence is being able to have dessert afterwards!
