The Lesson
This week, the Come, Follow Me for Individuals and Families manual asks us to read John 7-10. In the Latter Day Parables, Auggie talks about April’s decision to not play soccer with her team on Sundays. She explains to him that it’s important to keep the commandments. When we do, we feel happy inside and Heavenly Father is happy too.
After reading the story, talk to your children about the commandments they have kept, like obeying their mother and father or keeping the Sabbath day holy. Ask them how they feel when they choose the right. Tell them it also makes Heavenly Father very happy when we choose the right.
